Program Overview
Jumpstart your career in advanced manufacturing with Cappa’s Machining Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate — a dynamic 30-week program designed to build real-world skills and get you job-ready from day one.
In just four months, you’ll train hands-on with manual and CNC equipment, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and industry-standard CNC mills and lathes. You’ll also gain valuable knowledge in technical math, blueprint reading, and machining theory, setting a solid foundation for entry-level roles and apprenticeship pathways.
While many programs focus solely on CAD and CNC programming, Cappa goes further. You’ll build strong hand skills and machining fundamentals — giving you the ability to troubleshoot problems, understand your tooling, and make better decisions on the shop floor.
